Dedication

God, my Father, hallowed be your name. My heart is a small boat, your joy is my shore and your love is my anchor. Sweet are the promises, kind is your word, pure is your mind, forgiving and free. Sweet is the tender love you have shown to the world, particularly to me. God, you have really loved me. I was a wayward, wandering child, a slave of sin, until this blessed promise fell, the sweetest melody on my ear: "Charles, come unto me, weary and heavy-laden, for there is sweet rest for you." Oh love that would not let me go, I rest my weary soul in you. God, I drew my life from you and I give it back again, the life I owe, living for you alone. Remind me each morning of your constant love, for I put trust in you. My prayers go up to you; show me the way I should go. What else have I in heaven but you? Since I have you, what else could I want on earth? My mind and my body may grow weak, but God, you alone, is my strength; you are all I ever need.

Teach me your perfect and righteous ways, O God; make them known to me. Teach me to live according to your truth and righteousness, for you are my God, my Lord who saves me in times of trouble. I will always praise, worship, obey and trust in you, my love and caring heavenly Father. I pray to you, God, for your completeness and fullness. I came to earth with nothing, Lord, except the breath of life, and you have given me everything. For all you have blessed me, I give you praise.

May you God help me to remain in your grace, walk in your glory and also make me a mirror to reflect your love, glory, joy and peace to the world.
